Kitsune samurai

And i couldn't be happier with the result, i find the manga style of the picture to be quite interesting, especially the way she drew each tail as a single brush stroke.

As for what he is, he's a shadow kitsune. His name, Josephus buchanan, but to his minions, Yuudai Kage Isamu, which literally translates to, Grand shadow of courage. He's from an alternate timeline of earth where the planet is drastically different, where many creatures and races of myth exist alongside humans, and where most technologies of war and other destructive technologies ceased to advanced past the late 16 hundreds.

As for WHOM yuudai is, he is the immortal emperor of Japan, a shogun above all of the other old clans. And as you can see, he has nine tails, as powerful as any Kitsune can become, and as such, like any other shadow kitsune he has the japanese kanji for "god" written in a two pointed star on his forehead.
